What, Why & When?

Ever been in a 3 hour video call and had the burning desire to coffee-break every 30 minutes? Despair no longer! Below is our hand-picked (and partly self-invented) list of digital energizers that may spice up your online meetings and free you from your caffeine addiction.

Goals

  • Keep energy high in digital meetings.
  • Increase fun online.

Getting Started

Here's the list. You obviously don't need to do all of them in one meeting, but may pick according to your own judgement.

πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ Jumping Jacks

Have everyone do 5 Jumping Jacks

πŸ”’ Do a digital headcount

Do a headcount (German: "DurchzΓ€hlen") where the same number isn't allowed to be mentioned twice. If the same number is said more than once, start at 1 again.

πŸŽ™ Sing together (mic's muted)

Play a karaoke song (you can just use a "lyrics" video on youtube such as this one). Everyone mute's their mic and sings along.

🧾 Telling a story together

Everyone says a few words or sentences and hands off to another person which has to continue the story.

🀠 Model your favorite emoticons

Try to form your favorite emoji with your face, hands and body. Others can guess which it is.

🎰 Play a mini-game together

There are some games which you can play online together easily, such as Typeracer πŸš•. Maybe you'll find others!

πŸ₯— Elevator-Pitch your last meal

Have everyone pitch their last meal so as to convince everyone why that was the best meal ever.
